Privacy Policy
Del Mar Admissions Consulting LLC (“Del Mar Admissions”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) owns and operates the website at delmaradmissions.com (the “Site”) and offers undergraduate admissions consulting, essay review, and related advisory services. Collectively, the Site and our advisory services are referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services.”
About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains our privacy practices with respect to data we collect about individuals through the Site and through the Services we provide. It is part of our Terms of Service, which are incorporated herein by reference. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
This Privacy Policy applies to clients, prospective clients, parents and guardians, and visitors to the Site. It does not apply to the practices of any third party that is not owned or controlled by Del Mar Admissions. Where Information is shared with a third party as described below, your use of that third party’s services is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.
Information we collect
When you use the Services or otherwise interact with Del Mar Admissions, we collect data that identifies you or can be used to identify you (“Personal Information”). We refer to all information collected about you — including Personal Information and other usage data — collectively as “Information.”

We also collect Information you share with us during the course of an engagement — for example, in strategy calls, essay drafts, application materials, and email correspondence.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain Information from your device and browser is automatically received and logged, including your IP address (and the approximate location derived from it), device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is used to operate the Site, diagnose problems, and protect against abuse.
We use cookies only for core Site functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or first-party marketing-attribution tracking. If we ever add analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and post a cookie banner before that change takes effect.
Information received from third parties
We may receive Information about you from third parties who help us deliver the Services — for example, our email and hosting providers may share delivery diagnostics with us, and any payment processor we engage in the future may share transaction information with us as described in a future update to this Policy.
How we use Information
We use Information to:
- Respond to your intake form and arrange initial consultations
- Provide the Services you engage us to perform
- Communicate with you about the Services, contractual matters, scheduling, and material updates to our terms and policies
- Improve our Services and develop new offerings
- Comply with our obligations under applicable laws, respond to lawful government requests, and enforce our legal terms
- Protect Del Mar Admissions, our clients, and third parties, and to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse
How Information may be shared
We share Information only as needed and only with the recipients described below. Each recipient processes Information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policy.
Service providers
We use third-party vendors who require access to Information to perform services on our behalf. Current providers include:
- Vercel — web hosting for the Site and the intake-form endpoint
- Resend — transactional email delivery, including the system that emails our team when you submit an intake form
- Google Workspace — our corporate email accounts, calendaring, and document storage
If we add new service providers materially involved in processing your Information (for example, a payment processor or a scheduling platform), we will update this list.
Legal authorities and protection of rights
We may share Information with law enforcement, government authorities, or other parties where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, necessary to comply with legal obligations, or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Del Mar Admissions, our clients, or others, or to deter or address fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful activity.
Business transfers
If Del Mar Admissions is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, Information may be disclosed and transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the receiving party honoring the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not share your Personal Information with third parties for their independent direct-marketing purposes. We do not publish client lists, identify students by full name in public materials, or attribute essays or other application content to specific students without explicit written consent.
SMS and phone communications
If you provide your phone number to Del Mar Admissions, you agree to receive transactional phone calls and text messages from us related to the Services and to scheduling. If you opt in to receive marketing communications by text, you consent to recurring marketing and non-marketing text messages from Del Mar Admissions. Consent to marketing is not a condition of any purchase. You may revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP (or similar language) to any text message or by contacting us at hello@delmaradmissions.com. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Marketing opt-out
You may opt out of optional marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or emailing hello@delmaradmissions.com. You cannot opt out of transactional communications that are necessary to deliver the Services you have engaged us for, or of legal notices we are required to send you.
Privacy rights for California residents
If you are a California resident, you may be entitled to certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the California Privacy Rights Act, and related California law. Certain data may be exempt under California law from access, portability, and deletion requests. In particular, we may retain personal information needed to complete in-progress Services, comply with legal obligations, maintain security and existing Site functionality, and for other internal business purposes as permitted by applicable law.
Del Mar Admissions does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their independent direct-marketing purposes. Data retention and security
We retain Information for as long as is needed to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
